At Robson Moura Jiu-Jitsu, our Kids Program is designed to help children grow into confident, respectful, and resilient individuals—both on and off the mats. We divide our classes into three specialized age groups, ensuring that each child receives training tailored to their stage of development.
In this group, children are introduced to Jiu-Jitsu through fun, playful drills that develop balance, coordination, and motor skills. The focus is on building confidence, listening skills, and comfort in a group setting, all in a safe and encouraging environment.
At this stage, kids are ready to absorb more structured instruction. Classes emphasize teamwork, discipline, and self-control while introducing core Jiu-Jitsu techniques. Children learn problem-solving through movement, gain physical fitness, and start building a strong foundation for both martial arts and life skills..
Older kids are challenged with more advanced techniques, positional training, and self-defense applications. This age group also explores leadership, perseverance, and accountability. The program helps them develop maturity, resilience, and confidence that translates into school, friendships, and beyond.
